Green Infrastructure Research Symposium (Virtual)
Join GRHC at the Virtual Green Infrastructure Research Symposium on October 25th from 12pm - 5pm EST. This pay what you can event delves into the forefront of green infrastructure research. Immerse yourself in a day of knowledge exchange as emerging professionals and seasoned academics converge to explore the possibilities of sustainable urban solutions.
The event will have two tracks, the Academic Research Track, and the Emerging Professional Track. Each presentation will be 10-15 minutes long.
In the Academic Research Track, experts in the field will showcase their latest findings, offering insights that continue to shape the future of green infrastructure and green roofs. Engage with captivating presentations such as "Grassland Green Roofs" by Haven Kiers, Ron Guerra, and Hunter Ottman, and "The Effect of Annual Compost Additions to Green Roof Media on Lettuce Production" by Leigh Whittinghill, Christine Jackson, and Pradip Poudel.
The symposium also embraces the emerging generation of professionals and students in the field, who will speak during the Emerging Professionals Track. Experience innovative approaches like "Stormwater Management Using Blue Roofs" by Ariel Zhu, Zahra Jandaghian, and Hitesh Doshi, and explore sustainable food production through "3D Printed Green Wall" by Madeline Shaub.
