Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) members are a community of like-minded professionals and organizations working together to increase the awareness of the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green roofs, green walls, and other forms of living architecture through education, advocacy, professionalism, and celebrations of excellence.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities provides four different types of membership:

Membership Comparison

A Corporate Membership is for companies and organizations seeking high-visibility to market and/or a desire to more actively participate in the future development of the industry. As North America's green roof and wall industry association, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) provides its corporate members with many valuable benefits.  

Corporate membership is split into two groups, Standard (Tier 2) and Advanced (Tier 1). Corporate Memberships range in value from $550 to $5,200 US annually.

Individuals practicing the art of living architecture; those who wish to become more involved in the industry; or anyone with a desire to learn more about green roofs and green walls should register for an Individual Membership with Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC). Individual Memberships range in value from $55 to $207.50 US annually.

As an Individual Member you receive:

• Up to $50 off a full delegate registration to GRHC’s Grey to Green and CitiesAlive conferences, and further discounts to GRHC's full and half-day professional training courses.

• Access to the Living Architecture Toolbox, a members-only online resource centre with info on funding sources, and more!

• Monthly e-mail updates on emerging developments in the green roof and wall industry.

• Opportunity to actively participate on GRHC’s various standing committees and help shape the future of the industry.

Membership dues are $160 USD annually.

INDIVIDUAL AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

Individuals who are employed by one of GRHC's Corporate Members can apply for an Individual Affiliate Membership ($100 US annually) by contacting membership@greenroofs.org. As an Individual Affiliate Member you receive the same set of benefits as an Individual Member.

RENEWING GREEN ROOF PROFESSIONAL (GRP) MEMBERSHIP

GRP Membership includes all of the standard Individual Member benefits, plus the ability to use the GRP accreditation.

In order to maintain accredited status, GRPs must satisfy the following requirements:

• Maintain an active Individual Membership plus an annual GRP renewal fee of $47.50

• Obtain and report 16 Continuing Education Units (CEU) within two years of writing the exam

The Renewing Green Roof Professional (GRP) membership dues are $207.50 US annually.

SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP

Individuals with a personal interest in staying abreast of industry developments by receiving a subscription to the Living Architecture Monitor magazine should register for a Supporter Membership with Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.

As a Supporter Member you receive:

• Monthly e-mail updates on emerging developments in the green roof and wall industry.

Membership dues are $55 US annually.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is pleased to provide active students with low-cost access to its programs, resources, conferences and other initiatives to better facilitate engagement with industry professionals.

Student members receive all the benefits of Individual Membership.

Membership dues are $50 US annually.
