T
he Living Architecture Monitor is new – but only in name.
The Green Roof Infrastructure Monitor was first launched by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities as a four-page newsletter in 1999 and rapidly blossomed into a full-blown magazine published twice per year
The new name – Living Architecture Monitor – reflects our enhanced commitment to educate, inspire and celebrate this emerging restorative, sustainable vision of architecture and landscape design that extends beyond green roofs.
Starting in January 2008, Living Architecture Monitor will be published four times per year and available to GRHC members only. You may become a supporter member and receive the magazine for as little as $50 per year.
LAM Editorial Advisory Board - Volunteer Opportunties
Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is establishing a new Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) to - among other duties - act as a critical sounding board for the editorial team for upcoming issues of the Living Architecture Monitor.
In particular, we are seeking five industry professionals from across North America with the following expertise: green walls; green roof design; green roof horticulture; policy; and green roof or wall system-manufacturing. EAB members are expected to serve a minimum one-year term with an annual time commitment of approximately five days for all general members and including participation in four quarterly teleconference meetings. Membership will officially begin on Jan. 1, 2010. If you would like to be considered for one of the EAB seats for 2010, please apply by sending a note to the attention of the LAM EAB Task Force at
