reen Roofs for Healthy Cities is a rapidly growing 501(c)(6), not-for-profit industry association whose mission is to increase the awareness of the economic, social and environmental benefits of green roofs and green walls, and other forms of living architecture through education, advocacy, professionalism and celebrations of excellence.
GRHC offers three categories of membership to professionals in the green roof and wall (living architecture) industry.
- Corporate - suppliers and manufacturers seeking high-visibility to market and/or a desire to more actively participate in the future development of the industry.
- Individual - individuals who are practicing the art of living architecture.
- Individual Affiliate - individuals who are practicing the art of living architecture and professionally affiliated with an existing GRHC Corporate Member.
- Supporter (LAM Subscriber) - individuals or organizations with a personal or professional interest and/or need to stay abreast of industry developments by receiving a subscription to the Living Architecture Monitor.
As a member of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, you receive valuable resources and tools to help you:

- Be informed with the cutting-edge green roof and wall research, as well as all the latest industry best practices standards and developments.

Personal Membership Benefits
Supporter - $50 US
Individuals or organizations with a personal or professional interest and/or need to stay abreast of industry developments, but not necessarily working directly in the field.
- Four issues of the Living Architecture Monitor magazine per year (print subscription only) - a value of $95 per year with subscriptions available to GRHC members only! For subscriptions outside of North America, please add $25 to cover increased postage costs.
- Bimonthly e-newsletters on emerging green roof and green wall developments.
Individual Member - $149 US
Individuals who are practicing the art of living architecture.
- Four issues of the Living Architecture Monitor magazine (print and/or digital subscription) with subscriptions available to GRHC members only – a value of $95 per year.
- $100 discount on a full Attendee registration to GRHC’s Washington Regional Green Roofs / Walls Conference and Training in Washington, D.C., June 1 - 2, 2010.
- A $25 discount on the purchase of each of GRHC’s Conference Proceedings CD-ROM, which contains dozens of peer reviewed research, design and policy papers from our last five conferences – a savings of up to $125.
- Your contact information and professional advertisement on our searchable “Find-a-Member”, online Membership Database. Our web site, www.greenroofs.org enjoys more than 2.8 million hits monthly!
- Membership listing in GRHC’s Annual Membership Directory.

Corporate Memberships range in value from $500 to $4800 US, with membership dues paid annually.

- Encompasses manufacturers of systems including drainage systems, filter cloths, membranes and modular system.
- Distributors and Suppliers: $3,500 US

- Suppliers of materials related to the overall system, such as irrigation systems and borders.
- Green Walls: $1,000 US
- Encompasses manufacturers of systems solely geared towards green walls.
