In its mission to develop and protect the market by increasing the awareness of the economic, social and environmental benefits of green roofs, green walls and other forms of living architecture, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities leverages events of various sizes across North America to advocate favorable policy support for green roof development.  These events engage a wide variety of stakeholders and educate the general public on the many social, economic and environmental benefits of green infrastructure.

Local Market Symposia Program

Local market development program held in emerging markets to advocate for local green roof and wall policy support.  These are single-day events featuring presentations, panel discussions, and a trade show.  The locations for these events are determined with assistance from members and an examination of current green policies.
