Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) is partnering with the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation to offer Green Roof Professional (GRP) training in Annapolis, Maryland, from February 27th to March 1st. Funding is available through a Maryland Energy Sector Partnership grant to cover the cost of tuition and course materials for employed and unemployed landscaping, roofing, architecture and construction professionals in Anne Arundel County. This event will include the following courses:

• Green Roof Design 101: Introductory Course - February 27, 2012
• Green Roof Infrastructure: Design and Installation 201 - February 28, 2012
• Green Roof Waterproofing and Drainage 301 - February 29, 2012
• Green Roof Plants and Growing Media 401 - March 1, 2012

Each course runs from 9 am to 5 pm at:

Registration for each course includes a 100-page course manual.
